SkySquad’s mission is to empower individuals and families to travel with confidence.
SkySquad grew from an idea hatched in 2012, called Nanny in the Clouds. Named one of Entrepreneur Magazine's 100 Brilliant ideas of 2012, Nanny in the Clouds went on to receive accolades from the NY Times, Economist.com, Sydney Morning Herald, and more. Julie, our founder, developed this company due to her need for an extra set of hands when traveling coast to coast with her toddlers. Today, SkySquad is focused on providing an extra set of hands when they are needed the most: in the airport.

Julie Melnick

Hi, I’m Julie.
Airports are chaos—I know because I’ve lived it.
Cross-country flights, kids, strollers, bags everywhere… and that constant feeling of there has to be a better way.
That moment led me to create SkySquad.
I didn’t want to build just another service—I wanted to create real, on-the-ground support for travelers. The kind that instantly makes you feel calmer the second you walk into the airport. Because no one should have to navigate travel alone.
Since launching, SkySquad has helped over 125,000 travelers move through the airport with ease and confidence.
With 20+ years in marketing, public relations, and business—and after founding Nanny in the Clouds—this is by far the most personal thing I’ve built.
Because this isn’t just about getting to your gate.
It’s about changing the way people feel when they travel.
Dave Osborne
Co-Founder, CFO
Dave is a seasoned startup and finance executive with over 20 years of leadership and investing experience in consumer focused startups. Dave was an early employee and held leadership roles at two fast growing consumer startups - Instacart and Redbox - where his experience spanned strategy, finance, sales and operations. Dave also worked in Corporate Development for United Airlines and has investment banking and private equity experience.

Audrey is an operations manager in Orlando with over 25 years of experience across the hospitality industry, including car rentals, hotels, and airlines. I'm passionate about delivering exceptional service and building strong, supportive teams. What I love about SkySquad is the genuine carae we provide to each customer, and my goal is to make every traveler's experience smooth, comfortable, and memorable.
Deontray Babb
Operations Manager | Fort Lauderdale
Deontray Babb is the Manager of SkySquad’s Fort Lauderdale operations, where he leads with a strong background in both operations and sales. Known for his consistently positive attitude, Deontray sets the tone for a high-energy, customer-first culture on the ground. He has built and developed an exceptional team in FLL that delivers seamless, high-touch airport experiences every day. Over the years, Deontray has personally helped thousands of SkySquad customers navigate their journeys with ease and confidence. His leadership, dedication, and ability to connect with both customers and team members make him an invaluable part of SkySquad’s success.
Chris Tomseth
Co-Founder, Advisor
Chris is a multi-cultural, internationally-experienced travel executive, with over 20 years of industry experience. Chris has worked with a range of companies, from blue-chip multinationals such as Delta Air Lines, Choice Hotels International, Gate Gourmet, and Emirates to technology startups and U.S. and UAE Government agencies. Chris’ functional experience includes operational, sales and marketing, product development, finance, and strategy roles.

Asaf Rozin
Advisor
Asaf has 13 years of experience with Project and Product management of web applications and mobile apps, most recently as the Co-Founder & C.E.O of Stampfeet, a customer loyalty platform. Asaf has served in the cyber warfare Israeli unit 8200, and has earned his BSc. in Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialty in Information Systems at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
